P Connect Services Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201817922D, EA Licence No. 22C0927) respects the privacy of people who contact us, apply for jobs or use our services. This policy explains how personal data is handled in connection with our website, recruitment, work pass and family pass support, and BCA contractor registration advisory services.
1. Information you provide
The information relevant to your enquiry depends on the service you request. It may include:
- Your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, and correspondence with us.
- Your company name, business activity, role, company identifiers, recruitment plans and contractor registration information.
- Your CV, employment history, qualifications, skills, availability, salary expectations and other information you choose to include in a job application.
- Your current pass type, proposed employment and relevant family circumstances when you seek work pass or family pass assistance.
- Supporting documents needed for an agreed service or an application to the relevant authority.
Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not send passwords, payment card details or unnecessary identity documents through a general enquiry form. If identity or other sensitive documents are needed, contact us first to confirm what is required and how to provide it. When providing another person’s information, make sure you are authorised to do so and that they understand the purpose.
2. How information reaches us
We receive information through submitted website forms, uploaded CVs, email, telephone, WhatsApp and our subsequent service communications. We may also receive relevant information from an employer, candidate, family member or other representative acting with appropriate authority.
WhatsApp enquiry preparation: the forms labelled “Prepare My WhatsApp Enquiry” prepare a message in your browser. Selecting that button opens WhatsApp with your answers included in the link. Those details are passed to WhatsApp at that point; you can review the message before sending it to us. These forms do not save an enquiry to our website database.
Other website forms: submitting a contact or application form, including a CV upload, sends the information to the website’s form-processing system. Information may be stored with the website and delivered to our business inbox so that we can respond. These forms operate differently from the WhatsApp message-preparation forms.
3. Why we use personal data
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, understand your needs, assess suitability for a role or service, coordinate recruitment, prepare and support agreed applications, communicate progress, administer our business relationship, and maintain necessary records. Technical information also helps operate the website, investigate faults, prevent spam and protect against misuse.
We collect, use and disclose personal data with consent or another basis permitted under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). We will explain a materially different purpose before using information for it where required. Contacting us about a service does not by itself amount to agreement to receive unrelated promotional messages.
4. Sharing information
Depending on your request, relevant information may need to be shared with prospective employers, authorised representatives, or authorities such as MOM, ICA or BCA. A general enquiry alone does not authorise us to file an application on your behalf. Application and service work follows the relevant authorisation and agreed scope.
Website hosting, form processing, business email, security, communications and other service providers may process information to support these activities. We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law. Only information relevant to the particular purpose should be provided.
5. Cookies, technical data and external services
Website visits can generate technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referring pages and access times. Our website uses WordPress and includes tools for security, forms, visitor statistics, spam protection and social sharing. Cookies or similar technologies may be used by these tools. The information collected depends on which features are enabled and how you interact with them.
You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies may affect some website functions. Embedded videos, social-sharing features, WhatsApp and external websites may receive technical information when their features load or when you use them. Their own privacy policies apply to their processing. Our website policy does not control those services.
Automatic article translation: where enabled, GTranslate loads translation software from its service. When a page is translated, the page text is sent from your browser to Google for automatic translation. These providers may also receive technical request information. Translations can contain errors; please check the English original and relevant official requirements before relying on regulatory guidance.
6. Storage, protection and overseas processing
Personal data may be held in website records, business email, communications and service files. We are responsible for reasonable protection arrangements and for retaining identifiable data only while needed for its purpose or legitimate legal or business requirements. Information no longer needed should be securely deleted or anonymised.
Some service providers may process data outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, the PDPA requires appropriate protection comparable to that under Singapore law, unless an applicable exception applies. No website or communications channel can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your privacy requests
You may contact us to request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent, or raise a concern. Legal exceptions may apply. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Withdrawing consent may affect services that depend on the information; we will explain relevant consequences. It does not necessarily require deletion of records that must still be retained.
