Job Description

  • Plan and organize to ensure that daily Warehouse operations meet expectations and the delivery timeline.
  • Operate the program in a cost-effective manner whilst meeting all requirements.
  • Ensure all goods in the warehouse are properly collected, received, handled, accurately sorted, identified, value-added, transferred, and dispatched.
  • Lead and motivate staff to achieve the company's, supplier's, and customer's objectives.
  • Enforce compliance with the warehouse procedures, safety, and 5S and audit requirements.
  • Ensure staff compliance with all established processes and accuracy in data processing.
  • Perform process evaluation, initiate process improvement, and oversee project implementation.
  • Manage customer complaints and communicate effectively to resolve conflicts.
  • Manage manpower deployment and arrange for overtime as needed.
  • Good control of stock inventory accuracy and accountability.
  • Evaluate and set up operations procedures when necessary.
  • Approve leave application for admin and store personnel.
  • Identify and schedule training for the warehouse administration staff.
  • Initiate system change request.

Skills Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Access, VBA)
  • Good in using and creating operations dashboards to identify focus areas and drive improvement (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Good knowledge in process mapping and value stream mapping to identify improvement areas.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to articulate and present effectively to multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in resolving problems creatively and innovatively.
  • Frequently voice out opinions and share best practices to improve team performance.
  • Communicate effectively with internal/external customers.
  • Good analytical skills to review both financial and operational data.
  • Good knowledge of the latest automation technologies and implementation.
  • Good leadership and coaching skills to continuously encourage and motivate employees.
  • Good at working with numerous data to define, implement, and monitor KPI and provide data-driven insights and identify areas for improvement

Experience and Qualification

  • Minimum Diploma Holder or Degree holder.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations/customer service.
  • Positive mindset, team player, and high desire for learning.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and innovative.
  • Adaptable to a fast-moving work environment.
