Logistics Officer

• Perform logistics duties, including receiving and putting away, checking, retrieving, loading and unloading, repacking, and palletizing, for both import and export cargo in a warehouse environment.
• Ensure proper cargo check upon receipt and report any irregularity observed to the supervisor.
• Update the status of import and export cargo upon receipt into the in-house computer system.
• Conduct daily physical stock check of remaining cargo in the warehouse and update the report for distribution to the import and export sections.
• Perform labelling of airline labels for export cargo.
• Inventory management and stock check/count
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness & housekeeping.
• Observe safe warehouse practices and security. Perform any other duties as directed by a supervisor from time to time.
• Receive shipments correctly as per the cargo shipping reference, check for damages, and put away accordingly
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• 5S duties

• Ability to think quickly and resolve issues
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects

• Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor from time to time.
• Logistics / Warehouse experience and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge will be an advantage
• Forklift license and experience in operating a Stacker and Reach truck will be an advantage
• Nitec level
